Little Beauty Diary: Nail Polish diary

Hey, cuties! just wanted to share some nail polish swatches and what do i think about them. Enjoy!=)

PURE ICE NAIL POLISH :

 # HIT THE FLOOR :

A bright red (glitter) with blue undertone in it. I would say, this color is very sexy red color that you could wear it for the night out scenes. Sexy yet fun! This is one of my favorite color so far.
Power staying of this nail polish is around 5 to 7 days. Depends on what is your activity. I use my hand to wash dishes and some handmade stuff. But, since it is glitter based, i think it stays longer than just a non-glitter nail polish. What interesting about this glittery red nail polish is, when the light hits the glitter, it reflects the light perfectly, make the color pop more. Just adorable!

# BARE IT ALL :

A gold tone glitter nail polish. It is not a sheer gold glitter nail polish tho, it is packed with a tiny gold glitter that make the full look of golden nail. It creates a sand-y textures once it dries. The color is so bright, creates a very shimmery look on the nail. love!

#LOVE :

This is not a matte pink color. It has a small amount shiny effects on it, seems like a hint of silver in it. Staying power for non-glitter nail polish for PURE ICE products is around 3 days and it starting to chip easily. I suggest a top coat to make them last longer.

#PLAYFUL PRINCESS :

A bright teal color that really pop! No shimmer, no glitter just an ordinary nail polish. But for the color, i do really think this is a fun summer color. This color is easy to work with, because the consistency and the pigmentation is just perfect. one coat and the color paid off!

SALLY HANSEN TEXTURED NAIL POLISH :

SUGAR COAT TEXTURED # SWEETIE

A yellow yolk color that when it dries, it creates the icing-like textures on your nail. Interesting! but it takes time to dry and a little bit messy to apply. At first, it seems like the consistency is very watery, thats why it hard to work with, unless you apply a thin layer first and then the second layer after. They have pastel color collections and some pop color on this collections. Find them here.
Please do not eat your nail after you apply this nail polish... =D

FUZZY COAT #WOOL LITE :

It looks like you have a wool coat on your nail!lol..
This Fuzzy coat nail polish contains those tiny bar glitter that looks like a wool fabrics particle. some other collection from this line has different colors of the bar glitters in one bottle. It takes time to dry perfectly, but it is build-able. You can create full cover wool nails or just a simple wool coat effects.

For now, it is kinda hard to find this collections online, Target sold it for only period of time, but they sold out very fast...

Hi, Beauties!
I went to the drugstore(s) the other day and here what i picked up :

 Been looking for a lipgloss recently, since i don't really have many collection of the lipgloss products.

Revlon super Lustrous Lipgloss

Maybelline color sensational High Shine Lipgloss

Hard Candy Lip Def lip laquer

Fell in love with this color from the first time i saw this coral color. Staying power at least 4 to 5 hours and then the shine will fade away. But i love the non-sticky feels on the lips of this lipgloss!

 They called it Lip Def because it should make a fuller looking lips with a high shine that comes from the shimmery effects of this lipgloss. A little bit sticky feeling on the lips, but it is not bad at all. Wearing it with the lipstick would be more intense looking than wearing it alone, since the nude color of this collection is a little bit sheer.

I love the pigmentation of this Maybelline color sensational high-shine lip gloss, but the lasting power is not that strong. 2 hours later after applying this, i would notice the shine gone away but, the color still there.

Nail art trend : Textures! I am interested to try these textured nail color from Sally Hansen. The Sugar Coat ones create the texture of icing sugar on your nail. The Fuzzy coat ones has the wool fabrics fuzz in it. Fun for summer nail art!

I will be wearing these products and included a review of them on my makeup look spreads next time!

Summer is almost here...sunlight, hot temperatures, tanned skin, beaches, shorts, bikinis..and ice cream yum!=D

So, here are (my) guide to summer beauty.. enjoy!

Face/Body care products :

Instead of thick foundie, try to replace it with BB, CC or even tinted moisturizer. Sweating under the hot temperatures would melt the foundations and creates a cakey look on the face, it would also block the pores and creates a blotchy look on the skin. BB or CC or even tinted moisturizers are lighter than foundation formula, therefore, it allows your skin breathe easily, leaves a natural looking face even though it is all covered up. It also does a lot of benefits on the skin than foundations. Some Asian beauty company have the waterproof formula for BB cream. Try The Face Shop Waterproof BB.

Josie Maran 100% pure Argan oil

I love mixing my (SPF) body lotion with Josie Maran Argan oil to create a glowing looking skin. But, if you dont like oil residue on the skin too much, try Garnier Triple Nutrition Dry oil. You can use it on the face, hair and even the body. One product with multi benefits from Olive oil, Avocado oil and Shea. Looking for the moisturizer that also help creates the tan looking skin but with SPF protections? Try Jergens Natural Glow SPF 20. 

Do not forget about your lips, try Nivea A kiss of Cherry Fruity lip care SPF 10 before applying lipstick. Since they rarely covered and constantly exposed to sun damage, you might want to protect your lips as well..

Loose powder absorbs oil better than pressed powder. It creates more natural look on the face. But keep in mind : Pressed powder is good for Dry skin, Loose powder is good for Oily skin. Always remember,  Summer is all about having fun under the weather, try as much as you can to look naturally under the sun!

Tips : Refresh your face once a while during the day or before the touch up, my favorite face spray is Evian Spray Brumisateur Natural Mineral water.

Hair products : 

Try to use less heat on the hair, the weather is hot enough for your hair anyway. Beach hair is always sexy for the summer. Create a friendly waves using roller and spray the Beach hair spray product which contains the salt water to hold the waves! I like L'oreal Everstyle Texture series Beach waves spray .The result is more natural than using the hot roller.

Another tips : Sleeping with the messy bun! spray a little bit dry shampoo on it to give a little bit volume or Beach spray product and you wake up with sexy bed hair in the next morning!

I rarely using hot tools to create the waves on my hair, i always sleep with a messy bun at night and i always wake up with natural waves in the morning!=D

Your Eyes need a protection too :

UVA/UVB are not friendly for your eyes area. You could try to protect the eyes wearing hats if you do not like wearing sunglasses. But, it still not enough, UVA/UVB could create the ugly damages to your eyes such as cataracts, eyelid cancers and even blindness. Squinting your eyes also could create a wrinkle!So, say big no-no for not protecting your eyes from the sun rays.

Wear a good (fashion) sunglasses that has a UV blocked lenses or with a good tinted glasses, also, find what is perfect for you based on your personality..

Little beauty diary: Cherry.

Hello!
Been very busy this past week and i am happy that i am one year older! Say hello to wrinkles!lol..
Okay, so i just wanted to share some new products that i picked it up last week (except Milani lipstick in black cherry, i got this lipstick with other color like weeks ago..). I have a small review of Milani lipstick in Fruit punch, if you want to check that pretty color. The new products that i picked on my birthday trip : NARS light reflecting finishing powder ( pressed) and Ardell eyelashes in #81 Black.

I created dark lip color with a natural smokey eyes using Maybelline color tattoo 24hr wear cream eyeshadow in Bold gold and some colors from M.A.C eyeshadow Parlor smoke quad.

Speaking of M.A.C, have you checked out Rihanna's collaboration with M.A.C recently? If not, kindly check the M.A.C website to figure it out. I love Riri Woo color, it is like a ruby red color, i think it is beautiful! no wonder, it has been sold out like crazy.Red lips are back for this season... excited!

For the lips :

As for me, i love the color complexion of this lipstick. A dark burgundy almost as dark as a real black cherry fruit ( picture below) . Thing is the application is a little bit hard to work with, you need a couple time of the applications to make it even, on my lips, it attempts to settle between the fine lines on my lips. Lip balm and lip liner are recommended to get the good result. It doesnt make the lips dry but the color will fade after couple of hours. That's why i always go for lip stain or lipstick with long-lasting formula such as L'oreal Infallible when it comes a red/dark lipstick. But with a good deal on price for this Milani lipstick, i would say it is worth to try.

Note : 

It reminds me of Make Up For Ever HD microfinish setting powder (picture below), but this NARS comes in pressed powder type. I love how it comes with a small black pouch to carry this powder box and also a small white sponge. Like it claimed as a setting powder that reflects the light, this powder really works pretty good. It blurs the pores and fine lines, it creates a veil on the face to make the skin glows and look so smooth. I am impressed by what it claims that the powder contains a glycerin and anti-oxidant! Even though on the product it looks so shimmery, but actually it creates a semi- matte finish on the face. Not a flat matte, but it creates a healthy glow looking, instead. So far, i think i LOVE it!

 Katy Perry eyelashes #Cool kitty ( Evening ) - you also can find a natural, day to evening or double type of the lash for this collections.

Note :

Packaging : Small box ( outside) with Katy Perry picture on it. A plastic eyelashes box ( inside) has a Right/Left sign on it and it has a small container of adhesive attached on the inside box. You can also find a small sticker in the box written " Cool Kitty ".

Products : I would say it is similar to Ardell lashes collections. The lashes band is thin and it is elastic, make it easier to bend it. The Adhesive is similar to Duo eyelashes adhesive.

Price : US$6 -7 depends on where you buy it ( pharmacy/drugstore/online) you could find a best deal for this eyelashes if you google it. Anyhow, i would rather purchase Ardell or Salon Perfect lashes for a cheaper alternative because i found nothing special about this beside the inspiration of this lashes based on Katy Perry infamous cat eyes look..

Essence - I love punk - Jumbo eyeliner pen :

I have been loving Essence products recently, i love their packaging and how they came up with the name of the products or the ideas of their products. This Germany based company is very friendly for the price and the products itself. LOVE! Too bad you cannot find it online at their website. 

If you love cute stuff, i bet you would love their website to check out where to buy this brand.

Note :

Packaging : i am impressed that they came with the concept of the double cap for the eyeliner packaging. Liquid eyeliner always have a problem of drying out in the tube. With double cap, it would stay a little bit longer in the tube. As long as you hear 'click' sounds when you put the cap on, it should be good.

Product : Marker felt type of eyeliner pen with pointy tip. Easy to glide and it doesnt smudge on the skin (eyelids) at all. The size of the tip is very helpful for creating the big-bold winged eye makeup.

Price : around US$ 4 or so..depends on where you buy since they do not sell it on their website,
 i couldn't give the specific price of this product..

Milani lipstick # Fruit Punch :

Note : 

Packaging : I do love the packaging. Chic looking packaging and the color of lipstick match the bottom of the lipstick packaging. 

Product : The color payoff! Build-able and easy to blend. But, you might want to add some gloss or clear balm with the product, i found it a little bit drying after a while ( maybe it is my lips condition anyway, i heard good reviews about this lipstick on youtube ) .

It has a slightly watermelon scented , i dont find it bothered me. Moisturizing? mmh, not that ultimate moisturizing, it attempts to be matte look after a while. Need a touch up for sure!

I bought another color in Black Cherry and i love the color so much! will do the makeup look using it sometimes! stay tuned! =D

Price = US$4-5 ( check the local drugstore ).

Maybelline Color tattoo 24hr eyeshadow 

# Blue Paradise

This is the limited edition line that only for Spring/Summer sale. You could find it on the special racks for limited edition stuff. Kinda hard to find this limited edition online, i spotted same products on ebay but the price is just crazy! i got mine at H.E.B for US$5 something ( plus tax).

Note : 

Product : More creamy than the other -non limited- editions Maybelline color tattoo 24hr eyeshadow.

For  this #Blue Paradise , it reminds me of the blue colored sea shells/muscles shells or so, the color reflects different color ( blue to purple with pearl colors ) when the light hits.
